At Knock & Nash, our BAFTA-winning team is nationally recognised for offering actors an exhilarating alternative to traditional conservatoire training. Our mission is to help performers break through the noise with material that captures who they are and what they’re capable of on screen - crafted with precision, performance expertise, and cinematic production value. The Showreel Weekend Package is a professionally managed experience designed for trained actors who are ready to present their work at the highest standard. Over one intensive, rewarding weekend, you’ll film two original, tailor-made scenes that reflect your unique casting and artistic strengths. We take care of every element - from script and scene partners to locations and post-production - so you can focus entirely on the work. You’ll appear in two contrasting scenes: one domestic and one outdoors. The domestic scene is designed to highlight stillness, intimacy, or emotional depth, while the outdoor scene brings visual energy and movement. Each is written specifically for you by our in-house scriptwriter, following a creative consultation to ensure tone, genre, and casting are fully aligned with your goals. Before filming, you’ll take part in a dedicated rehearsal day led by a professional director. This session gives you space to explore both scenes in depth, connect with your scene partner, and receive tailored notes that sharpen your performance for camera. We believe rehearsal is where clarity and nuance take root, and it’s a vital part of our process. On the shoot day, you’ll work with a full crew using high-end equipment, including a 12K cinema camera, professional lighting, and studio-grade sound. We shoot on carefully scouted locations to give your scenes maximum production value, with every shot composed and directed to highlight your strengths. Optional on-set makeup is available for those who want a fully polished look. Once filming wraps, your footage goes through a full post-production pipeline, including editing, sound mixing, and colour grading. You'll receive two fully mastered scenes, delivered in multiple formats ready for use on Spotlight, Mandy, casting websites, agents, and your personal portfolio. Please note that this is not a training environment. The Showreel Weekend is intended for actors who have already completed formal professional training and have set experience.
