Step into the world of cutting-edge training with our BAFTA-winning team at Knock & Nash, known nationally for offering actors an exhilarating alternative to traditional conservatoire training. This exclusive programme welcomes either actors who have previously trained with Knock & Nash, or are have professional experience. You’ll collaborate closely with a talented screenwriter and a professional crew to bring a cinematic short film to life. Each actor will be given a bespoke, tailor-written role, designed specifically for them. The final piece will be showcased on the film festival circuit, premiered online for an invited industry audience, and will include an IMDB credit. Additionally, the material will be available for showreel use (licensing terms apply). This intense, week-long experience offers on-the-job training with a professional crew, taking place across various locations in Newcastle Upon Tyne. With busy days, preparation outside of class, and evening shoots, the project simulates a professional set environment, providing actors with the chance to put their skills into action like never before. Prepare for an exciting, hands-on experience that pushes creativity to the next level! A £495 deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance either paid in full or split into instalments via invoice.
