In this session, you’ll learn how to choose and set up equipment such as phones, microphones, lighting and tripods to create a clean, professional look. You’ll explore how to frame yourself effectively on camera, work with lighting to enhance your presence, and ensure your audio is clear and consistent. We’ll also look at how to analyse text and make strong character choices that feel truthful on screen, as well as how to rehearse and perform scenes with or without a reader. Finally, you’ll gain practical guidance on preparing, editing and submitting your self-tape, along with key do’s and don’ts to help your audition stand out for the right reasons.
